Call up OC armory and have them get you one with a single shot dros.

You can own one in ca but you get to wait and jump through some hoops and be willing to pay for it!

Couldn't you do a SSE by changing the inner mag tube with a solid piece (instead of hollow with the spring and plunger). That would mean you could only breech load it.

Someone correct me if my logic is incorrect.

Please contact one of the dealers listed in the SSE thread and they should be able to set you up.

          Good luck

Not a Henry but you can get the idea. A .357 MAG Ranch Hand purchased from EBRWorks in Newbury Park who did the Single Shot alteration and transferred through Mount Pleasant Arms in San Jose. Very professional on both ends and one of the easiest firearms transactions I have engaged in. No reason not to have have one.

^^^ That's the more authentic looking one. The Henry brand looks hokey.

They are not rifles and you shouldn't be calling them rifles. Federally and by CA state law they are defined as pistols/handguns.

You can own them legally in CA just fine. However, they are not on the roster of approved handguns so you will have to make it exempt from the roster by plugging the magazine to make it a single-shot pistol.

                      1) It was (originally) a TV gun

                      2) Authentic = genuine or original as opposed to a fake or reproduction

                      3) I said "authentic looking"

                      Again, the orriginal -
