    Rapid Fire

I know most ranges don't allow rapid fire, but I wanted to know if there were any that do or if you know a place where I could do some.
    Im in Sacramento.

    -thanks

I heard that if you take a special safety class (3 hours or so) from Sac Valley Shooting Center (and I assume one would need to be a member), you may rapid fire at that range.

Try and find some BLM land that allows shooting nearby.

          5 dogs range in Bako....

          bump-fire-bonanza.....alot....alotalot alot...

and lots of metal targets and you don't need to clean-up the brass when you are done...just the empty boxes and they have lots of neat things called trash cans to put them in...and they have 1/4 pound hotdogs for lunch for like 3 bucks....

and you can rapid fire to 500 meters...

          you asked... didn't ya?

I usually head up to El Dorado around Sly Park, there are lot of little cut outs up there with good back drops.

Keep it controlled, and there is no cyclic limit at SLOSA.

The sac valley private action pistol bays can be used if you do their class on a saturday for learning the rules of those bays. I think its the first and 3rd saturday of the month that they do it. You can rapid fire on them. You will have to bring another person along unless you are an NRA/IDPA/IPSC range master from what I know as well. Not sure if you need to be a member too, but heck why not be a member.

i suggest BLM if you really want to shoot fast. most ranges have the 1 shot per second rule, which isnt really rapid fire
