I use Breakfree + Otis kit. Occasionally I will use Shooter's Choice solvent for a little extra cleaning power.

I use Breakfree, but what is an Otis kit?

I actually have a box full of different cleaners depending upon which gun. For the AR and Mak90s all they get is the breakfree. Pistols will get more specialized cleaners and grease for the rails. The LTR gets Butchers bore shine for the barrel along with Tetra oil.

I guess I should at that if I had precision bolt guns or other pistols besides Glocks and Ruger .22s I probably would look at using other lubes & cleaning products, but for .22s ARs, SKSs, & Glocks Breakfree is fine and dandy. I also shoot plated or jacketed bullets so I don't worry about leading either

I use Break-Free on all my weapons. It is extremely good stuff. In the field, my usual regimen is to shoot until the weapon is really gummed up. I break out the Otis and do a quick touch-up that keeps the weapon working til the detail clean. When the day is done, I field strip it and soak all the works in Break Free for at least a couple hours. Next I brush the bore, scrub the frame, receiver etc, then wipe down and blow everything off with my air compressor. I follow up with the proverbial "light coat of oil" and I'm done. As for my Carry Pieces, I clean them after each session using the same technique.

If you want a mild cleaner, you can't go wrong with MP-7 or MPro-7. It feels a bit like soapy water and doesn't stink. Follow up with Militec-1. Both products have the least smell- even CLP has a distinctive odor.

FP-10 for everything. It has worked very well for almost 3 years now.

I prefer to do my cleaning step first with a dedicated solvent. I use Mpro-7 since i clean indoors. Then i lube with FP-10 CLP.

I like to use CLP for minor cleaning, then I use Tetra Lube and Tetra Grease for friction points and final wipedown.

                              I'm a believer!

MPRO7 so I can clean my handguns while watching TV in the living room so my wife doesn't complain. That plus some Slide Glide for my competition guns and I'm done.

For rifles I use a variety of concoctions to clean them (every now and again) but I don't clean them very often.
