    Must...Show...New...P6 Slide

Top photo is after being stripped, degreased, and blasted with aluminum oxide. Another quality refinish from Jake at Twisted Firearms LLC in Colton, OR.

The anticipation of having back on the P6 has me almost giddy with excitement.

Very very nice. Post up the entire pic of the gun when you get it back.

Clearly you're getting the slide done, but does your frame also need some attention?

The Frame is still in fine condition and with the exception of just a few shiny spots from holster wear, it really does not need refinishing. I've also read the refinishing a Frame weakens it but I don't know that to be 100% true. You can click the Sig link in my signature to see the pistol before I sent the Frame in.

Even though Cerakote is best, lol, what finish is that since he offers a bunch?

I believe it's (Socom Flat Black) by Moly Resin. Jake is meticulous in his refinish jobs and I am very pleased with the result. He was highly recommended and it's clear why. I bowed to his expertise as I've never had a pistol part refinished so I let him have 'free will' as it were with the finish type and color.
