How difficult to put finish on "in the white" receiver?

I saw a receiver I'd like to buy but it is currently unfinished and "in the white". Exactly how difficult is it to finish or are there places around that would do it for you? Thanks in advance for any information.

What kind of metal are we talking about? Steel? Aluminum?

AR15s are anodized then another finish is applied, some are dura-coat (Lauer) some are powdercoated(Fab10).

A G3, AK, reciver made out of Steel is painted as far as I know, the G3 has a epoxy type paint applied but since HK stopped making them other coats have come out that are much better.

Well, with very little practice it's not hard at all, you just the right tools and discipline (a little more practice).

I refinished my Sig P220 yesterday with Moly Resin, it took more time to setup my airbrush and get ready to spray than it did to actually do the work. That's why I usually try to get a few things together to finish in one sitting.

Google MolyResin and Duracoat for two popular finishes. The sites give instructions for setting up and applying the finish. If you don't want to do it, there are people that will do it for you for a small fee. If you're local I could work something out with you.
