What type of guns do you have? Or are you planning to buy what you need to compete? I am a cowboy action shooter if that sort of thing interests you I can direct you on where to get started. You will not find a better group of people to compete with.

You gotta give us more details dude. The area where you live, Do you want to shoot high power NRA matches, or IDPA/USPSA or steel matches. There's all kinds of fun to be had. But you gotta help us, help you.

Since you are in Orange, the closest action pistol matches to your are IDPA at Prado (Chino), USPSA at Norco (Raahauges), and the SSA (steel) match at Norco. If you have never shot competition before, show up and watch a match first. If you already have your gear, good holster, belt, extra mags and mag pouches, tell the match director you are a newbie and they will put you with experienced shooters to start. These are cold ranges, no gun handling except at your car, and when the RO tells you to make ready, otherwise the gun is empty (no mag).

i have in ar15 6.8 spc and a beretta m9. and i know now that i need more mags and some pouches. but what kind of pouches. im thinking of going with one of the pistol. im going to go to raahauges to check it out ........... thanks
