Special order ruger gp100 6in stainless wait time??

Two and a half weeks ago I ordered the 6inch stainless ruger gp100 at the local gun shop. Only shop that had it in stock wanted $180 more. Just curious if anyone has a rough estimate of how long until the shop gets the firearm. I still will have to register it and wait the jail time. Thanks

not sure about rugers, but last time I ordered a handgun, it took them about 5 days.

I had Discount Gun Mart in San Diego special order a new gun from the distributor. They estimated 10 days to get it in. They called me 5 days later and said I could come in and start the DROS.

New to the forum here, but yes, my local gun store stated that they already had these on order and they did not know exactly how long it would take.. they are having more of an issue obtaining the 4" blue which is the one I wanted ..

Try Davidson's Gun Genie. Shouldn't take them long to ship one to a local store. I used it last year on a rifle and it worked great. Best price I could find, and I ordered exactly what I wanted.

Generally from distributor to shop if its in stock 3-5 days. Not in stock it varies on distributor.

It took my LGS about a week to get mine in stock when i ordered it.
