I like building guns, not just ar15's. I like doing weird things and I fabricate. I do it all day long, when I was 18 I was an a apprentice machinist at an aero space company, no we never made anything gun related, but we did make some cool tools. ever since I love fabricating and building stuff.

I've physically seen one or two pink ARs and read about others. I'd Google "pink AR15" and see what comes up. Confer with your wife before you build it as to which way to go. If she doesn't like it, it may not be too hard to sell.

I think the main factor in a fast sale would be the price. I think there is a limited market for a pink AR, but it is so specialized I could see you being stuck with it...Then again I could see it selling fast.

Bottom line: I have no clue.

I started painting stuff for my wife, she already has the rasberry LCP and a Hogue stock for her 10/22 that is pink and now in the process of building her 5.56.

All I can say is she will love it!

I would guess the price you can sell it for depends on how you make it pink.

If you had the reciever anodized/properly finished in pink and if you have pink/white plastic (not just pink spray-painted but actually molded in pink plastic) furniture then I could see the pink rifle commanding a higher price than a black rifle with similar parts.

If this is a 100% krylon job, then you are devaluing a black rifle.

Here is what I say...it is your money and you do what you want. If you want to eat beats and pi$$ on it to turn in pink then you go right ahead.
