Incredible difference. However, you better be a AZ resident as they wont sell stuff to out of staters.
Lots and lots of guns for sale, lots and lots of military guns for sale.
Row after row of parts parts parts.

as a vendor at the crossroads shows in Socal, AZ and southern NV, i can tell you there is a night and day difference between the "free state" shows and the CA shows. The "free state" shows have tons more guns for sale, shows are just bigger in general, and everybody is open carrying. lots of AK's and AR's for sale, because of PPT's everybody walks around with signs saying "_____ for sale"

literally a whole other world, but if you are a CA resident dont expect to buy any firearms. all the dealers as well as PPT's will send you packing.

I went to a few shows in Mesa and Phoenix and when I walked into my first one, my jaw hit the ground. What a difference! You got to check it out. I have family there and when I visit them yearly, I always plan my trip around a gun show..

C&R's are good to go, thought you may run into some sellers that are not aware of this.

Arizona gun shows are worth the drive.

I don't live in California and I prefer AZ gun shows to local shows.

                  Well not really.

If you have a C&R FFL then you can purchase C&R firearms. But if you don't have an FFL you cannot purchase any post 1898 firearms.

That's what I was wondering - how most of the sellers deal with this.

The best gun show in Arizona would be the Small Arms Review Show in Phoenix late November/early December.

The gun sellers are very anti-California, even with handguns on the CA safe guns list.

I did purchase a C&R WW2 Walther PPK with German Army proof marks. Seller from Nevada was really helpful and friendly. Of course, had to ship FFL to FFL.

Miwall and LAX charge the exact same prices at every show no matter where they go!!!!! and of the three states i do (this will shock you) CA has the lowest sales tax rate of the 3, phoenix is 9.3% and vegas is 8.1% while CA is 7.75% so if you are going only to buy ammo, it is actually cheaper to buy it in CA!!!!!!! thats why i make all my ammo purchases at CA shows. bought 1000 .223 and 880 7.62x54r this last weekend in del mar

california is the only state that has exemptions for "C&R". in any other state if the gun was made after 1898 it is just a gun, in the eyes of the law an AR15 and a mosin nagant (for example) are no different. but remember you can "cash and carry" AR15's at free state gun shows.

The best gun show on the West Coast is in the first week of December. It is the SAR Magazine show.At the Arizona Sate fairgrounds. I have been going for about fifteen years now.Like a mini shot show.A handful of vendors and manufactures are always their.

You can buy C&Rs out-of-state, if you have an 03 FFL, which many (myself included) do have. You just need to register the C&R handguns once you bring them to CA. Mailing handguns to CA is a whole other issue (has to go through 01 FFL), but I was talking about buying them at the show in person. I was wondering, if the sellers at those shows aren't scared of selling to Californians for whatever reason, as we see so often. I'm planning to start going to shows in AZ for C&Rs, and I'd rather not waste the drive. It's a long drive
