    Colt AR Style Rifle Question?

Colt is making some CA compliant rifles now and I'm saving up to buy one. I'm interested in two; A LE6920CMP-B with MAGPul furniture on it and the LE6940CA that has a monolithic rail system which apparently free floats the barrel. Cost is roughly $300 more for the LE6940CA. My question is how much more accurate, if at all, will the rail system make the 6940? I'll pay more for increased accuracy but I'm not sure it's money well spent. What say you?
If you buy anything because it has "tactical" or "operator" in the name, we probably don't run in the same circles.

You will probably not notice any actual accuracy or precision differences between the two due to the barrel materials and construction used.

You're really just paying for the rail system. If you want a rail system, it's a great upper. If you don't care about the rail, save the money and get the 6920 version.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
