    Out of state AR15

I am not a resident of California, however i spend a lot of time here in this state for schooling as well as work. my question is can i bring my AR15 into this state? is it as easy as slapping a bullet button on it and picking up some 10 round mags or do i have to do a lot more to it?

so i used the flowchart and didnt get any red flags, but #4 makes me scratch my head, what is different about these rifles, how do they violate the PC.

my lower is made by a very small company called "Branch Custom Weaponry", as it sits right now it is just a stripped lower, im going to finish it in a month and need to know if i can bring it back with me, if i can, i will build it CA legal, if i cant i will keep it "free state" configured

When they initially passed the assault weapon ban it was challenged as overly broad so they had to come up with a list of specific manufactures that they would put on the list. In order for them to ban new manufacturers they would likely have to open a new registration period, which they likely don't want to do. As long as it meets the flow chart requirements, you should be good. If it is a listed lower, it can never be made into a Cal-legal AR configuration.

Step four is the list of makes/models on the second page. As long as it doesn't meet that list and is configured as either featureless or fixed 10 round magazine you should be good to go.
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

when you say new registration period. do you mean a new period to register AW's or a period to just ban all the new manufacturers.

cause if it would re-open the AW register i have a hard time believing they would do that as they know there would be a huge flood of people registering.
