he should be in jail -
I'm going to go with "not enough info". Article waxes high on "he was a good kid!" and very little on actual details surrounding the incident.Comment

Not enough info. If he claims self defense, this article lacks any helpful info on that legal defense. Sorry for any 17yo shot dead, but more info is needed to determine justifiable homicide or not.Comment

the whole situation sucks. theres no way to know what actually happened unless there was a witness and police wont release that info until the trial if there is one, i feel bad for the family but there are always two sides to every story. the only people who really know what happened are the kid and the shooterComment

They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."Comment

Let me see, he went to the store for snacks and a drink and decided on the way home he would commit a crime and when confronted with a gun he thought it would be a good idea to attack the shooter with his 2 bags of skittles and tea.
That should teach kids not to walk to the store in the neighborhood without checking with Zimmerman first...Comment
