Gunstock finish question.

I have had good luck with Birchwood Caseys Tru-Oil. It works well on it's own but takes awhile to dry. If you want to speed up the process you can use armorall with the tru-oil.
I spray a light coat of armorall on the wood and then wipe on the tru-oil, it will get white and cloudy. Keep rubbing it in and in a couple minutes the coat will be dry. I wipe the stock down with coffee filters between coats.
It sounds odd but it works. -
I would suggest Minwax Tung Oil Finish."TRUST BUT, VERIFY"
