Is Bishop Ammunition Manufacturing still in business??? They do not seem to be on this forum any more. What happened?

I'm sorry. I hadn't logged into the Calguns web site in awhile, as we have been extremely busy. We are definitely in business, and most of our volume is sold through our 13 gun dealers in California, Nevada, and New Mexico, but we also have an online presence though which we do direct sales. The best way to get ahold of us is by sending an email to info@bishopammunition.com or to me directly at dianne@bishopammunition.com

We are a small FFL Class 6 small arms ammunition manufacturer with production facilities located in North Highlands, California.

Again, I hadn't been logging in because we have been really busy and because it seemed nobody was talking about us here.

Sorry about that. I should check in more often. :-)

Saturday, we went out to the Lincoln Gun Club range and chronographed some reloaded 44 Magnum using 240 gr double struck, copper plated lead bullets we produced as a reduced load using a Hodgdon Extreme powder, and our Oehler Research Model 35P Proof Chronometer showed an average speed of 1135 fps, which is about where we wanted to be on that. We used a Rugar Blackhawk Revolver chambered in 44 Magnum. You can pick some up at Just Guns in Sacramento or the Gun Exchange in San Jose starting Monday. It's a limited run we did to see what the market demand would be.
