    About three weeks ago, I placed an order with www.smartgunner.com for a Mesa Tactical 6 round side saddle for a Remington 870. My card was charged a few days later and it's been 3 weeks and no package at my house. I check the website and it just says "Payment Received". I attempted to call them, no answer so I left a message. A few days later, I call again and left another message. Then I call again a few days ago and left another message. Has anybody here ever had a problem like this with them? I'm fine with it being out of stock, just let me know if it is!! I just find it odd that if it was out of stock, they would charge my card and not list it as out of stock on the website.

    My question is, have any of you guys had a problem like this with them and what steps I should take next?

    I swear, of all the threads I've read about Botach, I've never had a bad experience with them and yet I've read a few good reviews about smartgunner.com and was recommended to them by a friend and this happens......

    If you've waited 3 weeks, contacted them three times, I'd just do a chargeback. Make sure you document your contact with them as the CC company will want to know to get your credit.

    I've also never had a problem with Botach, two orders through them, very fast, no tax, no shipping.

      I've done probably over 10 transactions with Botach. Besides sometimes having to wait for backorders, I've never had an issue. I have almost put orders through with smartgunner before but after reading this I doubt I will now.

        i would just call your CC company and tell them to credit your money back. there is no way you should be waiting 3 weeks for a package

          I ordered two products from smartgunner in the past and had no problems with them whatsoever. I would try sending them an email. They have responded to my emails promptly.
          The less you give a damn the happier you will be.

            Update - last night I sent them an e-mail and told them that if I didn't get a response from them by tomorrow, I will be filing a complaint with my credit are company to get my money back. What else can I do to make others aware of this? Is there like a yelp for online businesses?

              Contact the BBB(Better Business Bureau) and file with them. Yelp is another good idea, i often look at yelp before i go to a place or buy online. And if you got a Facebook, see if they got an active facebook and say something on there, you'd be surprised how these companies will pay attention to it(but has to be the official FB page not fan made).

                Damn I totally forgot about the better business bureau, thanks! I'll definitely keep that in mind when I file a complaint about m charge tomorrow.

                  Update - I got a call from them. He apologized and said they got my order confused with something they didn't have in stock but got it figured out that they actually did. Having a hard time buying that but at least my order is on the way. Don't know if I will be doing business with them again. But I kind of do want to believe that it was an honest mistake since they do happen and there are a few of my friendsthat have had flawless experiences with them. But well have to see. Thanks for the advice everyone.

                      no they did not. on top of that, when I received the package today, my dad(who answered the door because I wasn't home) had to pay $3.10....I guess they didn't pay the right amount for postage or something....never had that happen before.
                      A few days ago, I got an email saying they were sending a refund of $63.00 for my order from smartgunner.com....well I checked my bank account today and there's no refund from them.

                        Last update - checked my bank account today, I was refunded the $63 and I received my side saddle yesterday in the mail. Everything is good to go. I'm willing to give them another try when I need to order something else, I feel that they corrected their mistake appropriately.

                              Yeah they refunded me my order so I got it for free.

                              Hmmm well I know a lot of Mesa Tactical stuff is backordered, but they should at least be responding to your emails/phone calls. Can't believe that they're doing this again to someone.
