    Bank Robbery in Chino

Apparently some dude walked into a bank with an ak47 wearing some sort of body armor. Not only did he shoot a cop in the leg but got away!! How does that even happen?
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, it was a 50/50. Go ahead and move if necessary.

Move quick & be lucky. The bad guy(s) might have done their homework & known the routine before going in.

Hope the injured lawman is gonna be OK.

The answer is the robber is a cop, and the one shot in the leg was his buddy !!! jk. I'm shocked. Most modern day bank robbers just walk in and demand money and walk out without a weapon exposed claiming they have a explosive device etc. The banks are insured so they don't mind handing the money over.

It was the California Bank & Trust on riverside, used to be Vineyard Bank I think. Half a mile from the court & police station.

Have you every been shot at with a AK47 ? It would be really easy to get away with fire power like that . A Assault riffle Vs a hand gun who wins ? The police officer was not going to the bank hold up he was just patrolling the area . That police officer did the right thing to report the robbery and drive to the hospital . They will catch hem on his next robbery .

I mean how does somebody with an AK and body armor go around without being noticed. Chino is a very populated area. You would think it would be much more difficult to just disappear.

But I thought having laws that prevented magazines from being "high capacity" or removable made it impossible for criminals to get a hold of them. Oh wait I forgot, they are criminals therefor they DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW

Wow, that's crazy. I'm not all that far from there. I only use ATM's luckily.

I didn't see or hear any reports that it was a select/multi fire assault rifle? Any links, or did the media just report is as such after confirming it from their ak47 chart?

So I have to ask, was it REALLY an AK-47, or was it just a rifle with wimpy hoplohobe Commiefornia witnesses calling it an "AK-47" just because they learned that this is the name of a gun that sorta kinda looks something like what they saw? The photo isn't clear to me.

What is this, a box of tissues, or a box of "Kleenex?"

"Police collected bags of cash dropped by the gunman in the bank parking lot as he fled."

What a DUFUS! Rob a bank, shoot a cop, and then drop the money?

And what is up with these crappy bank cameras?!? We have HD video on our TVs that allow us to count the whiskers on news reporters' faces, and camcorders that make the goosebumps on a stripper look like sandpaper, but the banks are still using low-resolution analog cameras that produce useless grainy images of people that could be anybody?!? The stupidity of this is beyond comprehension!
