    Rapid Fire Ranges?

Are there any ranges in CA that allow rapid fire.....Usually they don't, I guess due to safety.

Richmond Rod & Gun Club has a range that is set aside on different hours and days just for rapid fire. You can also rapid fire at some of the "self serve" BLM ranges.

      I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,
I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've never had a problem doing it at Burro Canyon but we always rent a private range there. I don't think it's allowed at the line.

Jackson Arms in the city allows for controlled rapid fire and double/tripple taps. Indoor range.

            Depends on the target. Large = rapid / Medium = d/t / small = 1 every 3secs.

Sunnyvale Rod & Gun I believe lets you do controlled rapid fire also.

The range masters at Burro don't mind, but the guy next to you might not appreciate the excessive brass in his face.

American shooting center, and discount gun marts, they've told me that you can rapid fire all you want. Just make sure you're hitting your target. If they notice you shooting wildly then they step in and tell you not to

Sharpshooters INC. doesn't really mind, unless you're just being ridiculous about it. If you're being silly, they might say something but I've never had any trouble over there.

"The Firing Line" in HB is downright annoying, though! I was doing 3-shot drills with my Makarov, to try to practice and the guy came over the loudspeaker and said "one shot per second".

I thought he was talking to someone else, at first but after the next drill, he called out my lane number and repeated "one shot per second". Now, I'm not "dirty harry" or anything but all my shots were hitting the paper and at no time was I "unsafe". I think I'm going back to Sharpshooter after my 1 year membership is up at the Firing Line...
