Does anyone know who Charles Montaldo is?

This guy has a false gun quiz on About.com. He claims:

The correct answer to: Is a license or permit required to buy handguns? is: Yes (I have purchased scores of handguns, but never had a license or permit....unless my Drivers License counts.)

The correct answer to: Is it required that you register all of your guns with law enforcement? is: Yes (Funny, but long guns have never been registered with law enforcement....unless the DOJ is pulling more BS)

You can check it out at: http://crime.about.com/library/blgunquiz_ca.htm

He has most likely been reading the DOJ website or been getting his misinformation from another source that is not based in fact.

With idiots like this its no wonder that people are confused about the gun laws here.

HA HA... my brother has been a P.I. for about 19 years. Specializing in insurance fraud, and he doesn't know jack ***** about gun laws (or even guns in general, for that matter). What makes ol' Chucky such a specialist? Sounds like another douche "playing cop". Thanks a lot Charles

this one is kind of wrong, too:

          hat answer was not correct.

          The correct answer to:

Is it mandatory that locking devices be sold with guns?

          is:

          Yes
if you have a gunsafe, you do not need to buy a lock at purchase (pickup, rather).

Also, maybe he considers your HSC a "permit" since you have to take a test to "qualify". . . but still... not good...
