    Help me identify this part

    So I think this goes to a shotgun if I'm not mistaken, and the original old brown box it came in said "Made in Belgium" on it, the buttplate says Browning, and it looks like a recoil reducer for an older shotgun or something similar. I don't have a CLUE what it fits, but a buddy gave it to me to help ID it and find out its value. Here are the only pics I have of it.







    Again, this is all the info I have for it and anything would help.

      I managed to find this on it by googling (browning recoil reducer)
