Glock trigger safety hurts my finger!

Man, yesterday shooting my glock, my finger was killing me... no problem with my sig or buckmark... that stupid safety on the glock trigger is not friendly. Anyone have a similar experience? Any solution? My finger placement is trigger in middle of first fat pad...like always.

i noticed it too also the wide triggerguard would sometimes punish me if i held it less than firmly

Same thing happens to me if I shoot my Glock a lot.

Which Glock? Some have a serrated trigger that bothers some shooters. Neither of my Glocks has that, but I read that others have just smoothed out the serrations. Hearsay, so don't take it to the bank. (I think there are a couple of threads on Glock Talk about that situation).

I replaced my trigger with one from glockworx. The face of their safety is almost as wide as the trigger, you wont even notice it.

I'm thinking that may be the issue as well. I think you can drop in a smooth one and replace the serrated one

I don't even hardly notice the trigger safety on my XD. I don't know if there is much difference on the Glock. Been a few years since I've even shot a Glock.

The only time mine has ever bothered me (Serrated trigger on Glock 27) was when I hadn't shot in a month or two, and then I shot 150-200 rounds in a couple hours. I got a tiny blister that bothered me for a day or so.

If you choke up on the trigger (pull higher up on it) it shouldn't bother you as much.

haha yaya..my hands are pretty strong, used to olympic lift 350lb etc... I'm pretty new to glock (had one back in the day I didn't shoot much)... just isn't comfortable to my trigger finger, maybe i'll change my positioning.

I sanded out the front of the trigger safety to be flush with the trigger when pressed. It will not disable the safety.

If you have soft, dainty fingers you should have bought a Ruger.
