I had a fantastic presidents day weekend! On sunday me and my old lady went to wes thompson's range for some trigger time. One of the gentlemen let us shoot his .338 lapua, AWESOME!
On monday, a couple of buddies and I went out to the glass factory. I brought out all my toys and made a small dent in my surplus ammo stockpile. I let some of the guys shooting next to us shoot my m1 garand, and one of them let me shoot his winchester .458 mag. And I thought 7.62X54R kicked like a mule. The two holes I left in the target made the rest of the holes look like they were from his rifle's little sisters.
On a side note, this saturday a cleanup is scheduled at the glass factory. I dont think I can make it, and i feel bad because I left some pvc target stands out there so another guy with his son could use them. However, besides the targets, we took out more trash than we packed in.
