Quick question concerning choosing a CCW at a shop

If your shopping for a potential CCW, have any gun shops actually let you try the gun on? Maybe some standard IWB holster made for that gun and you stick it on your belt or just in the waist band to see how it feels & conceals? Was just thinking, it would suck if I bought a particular gun and then you do not like how it carries. Gracias.

i dont know where chino is, but most shops will let you try the holster on if they can just put it back in the box or packaging. thats how i picked a holster (not CCW) for my 1911
