Most everything is in stock and has a lead time of approximately 2 days to ship, although many items ship immediately.

Where are you guys located out of? I love LAPG but what burns me is that to ship a pair of pants from LA to San Diego it costs $14. But if I order a RDS, magnifier, and ring mounts from Texas to SD it cost just as much if not a couple dollars less. So I guess what I'm saying is beat LAPG's shipping costs and you will win my business along with many more folks.

I mentioned LAPG mostly because I know where they're located. These new guys are a mere 6.3 miles away. Lots of nice industrial area up there.

I love to support local businesses whenever I can. However, these days, in this economy, I am very price driven. I mean, I'm not going to sacrifice quality or use some "fly by night" operation. But there are lots of quality retailers out there to choose from.

Low shipping costs are great, but the "overall" price is what is most important to me. And I generally find myself looking for an out of state retailer when I'm buying higher priced items to save on the sales tax. Tax and shipping really add up and I'll gladly wait a few extra days for the longer shipping time if it means saving money.

As an example, I notice DTOM is selling the 5.11 42in Double Rifle Case for $184. I paid $156 for it a couple months ago from an out of state reatailer (no sales tax) and got free shipping. That's a pretty dramatic price difference overall.
