I think that is the muzzle brake on a Serbu BFG-50

You can have one. Just like Barrett offers the Barrett .416 in California, Serbu offers their rifle in .510 DTC in California.

I have a feeling that .510 STC, .416 Barrett and other new large bore rounds will do to the .50 ban what the stripped lowers are doing to SB-23 right now eventually.

except I personally dont think they will be banning all of these other big bore rounds. after all, it will just look like they f***ed up the first time around, and politicians would never want to look like that.

AND there's now the new semi-auto BFG-50a that's just been shown at SHOT. It too will be offered in .50DTC for the CA market with a hinged mag!

I had a Serbu, sold it and now have a Ultramag. Which by the way, also has the "Have a Nice Day" muzzle brake.

Best $25 bucks I ever spent.

Can .510 DTC brass be formed from .50 BMG brass?

Yes, 50 DTC is made from .50 BMG brass. Here's a link from EDM Arms website showing the different steps of it being done, http://www.edmarms.com/news.htm

I think one of the guys that shoots with us has F U Arnie on his muzzle brake or it's on order.

Thanks, this just makes me want a .510 DTC more.

                            a BFG-50A for CA?

Awesome! Here is another pic minus the lovely lady...

When will it be available and how much will it cost?

Come to think of it, I wonder will Barrett offer their 82A1 in .416 Barrett with a hinged mag like they did before AB-50 went into effect?
