    RPG anyone?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Original Production
    High Explosive Anti Tank (H.E.A.T.)
    Rocket Propelled Grenades - inert

Not typically found at TAPCO; we couldn't pass up the chance to make these available to you. A collector's dream, these are brand new display units from the Cold War era, imported directly from Eastern Europe. Untouched in over twenty years, these inert training models are pristine in every way possible. They have not been used and the original markings are still in great condition. Each unit stands 34.5" tall and weighs 8.9 lbs. They are available in very limited numbers as individual units as well as being offered in the original crates containing six units. These are for shipment to U.S. addresses only. Sorry, we do not export.

Single Units MSRP: $130 Original Crate of Six MSRP: $780

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This item is a curio and relic that has been rendered permanently inert with the ingestion of non-removable inert epoxy filler. It contains no harmful parts or substances and can not be modified to be any sort of harmful device. It is sold for historical preservation and study purposes only.

I may or may not have had a demilled pineapple grenade hanging from my rear view mirror for about a year. I had to take it down: going over nasty bumps it'd swing up and hit the mirror. The thing looks like a dog chewed on it.

There was a guy at the SAR show selling fully functional 5 second grenade fuses.

Yup, inert dummy grenades and rocket launchers are against the law. Despite being demilled, they are classified as destructive devices.
Sad, it's only a matter of time when all things that are fun to own will be outlawed. Fast cars, guns, chopsticks, rubber #agina, butt plugs, etc. The Marina crowd will not be pleased.

Those fins would make a great mayonnaise maker.

So basically I can't have an pointy aluminum and sheet metal tube that's been filled with epoxy?

            That blows.

Nor apparently with inert devices or replicas. Gosh, those politicians must think that we are really stupid!

I thought these were fine as long as they were filled with a permanent inert substance. Anybody know why the exception to 12020 outlined below would not apply?

12020. (a) Any person in this state who does any of the following
is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year
                          or in the state prison:
                          (1) Manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the
                          state, ......any metal military practice
handgrenade or metal replica handgrenade ......

                          (b) Subdivision (a) does not apply to any of the following:
                          (15) Any plastic toy handgrenade, or any metal military practice
handgrenade or metal replica handgrenade that is a relic, curio,
memorabilia, or display item, that is filled with a permanent inert
substance or that is otherwise permanently altered in a manner that
prevents ready modification for use as a grenade.
