Why do RIA's look MUCH MUCH better in pictures (not saying that they are ugly - just "not as pretty")

Looks like they colored in the logo and words. Not a fan of that or their new logo. I may be impartial because I have the old logo and non filled in letters. Billboarding seems to be the new trend with pistols.

my feelings as well. Then again i hate all the logos and gaudy text that some smiths put all over the slide of 1911s.

I don't personally care for either roll marks, new or old. I hate billboard roll marks.

Looks better than their old logo. An improvement IMO.

Neither... Make mine an original repro. That's right; RIA made these (pre A1 1911) ones too.
