5.11 Range ready VS. Midway Comp Range bag???

IIRC, the Midway bag was a ripoff of the CED bag.
Someone had done a review comparison of the CED and Midway. There were some small quality differences between the two but unless you were going action shooting every weekend and dragging it around, the Midway would be more than serviceable.
That said, I've owned the Midway product for several years and only had to replace it because someone got sick all over my first one. -
I am happy with the 5.11

Now that I have loaded it up a few times. I find that its over padded. The structure of the bag is solid. Every layer has padding and that wastes space. Albeit the size of the bag and as full as I have it is heavy. I have some ammo in it and some ammo in another bag.
I like the mag pocket, the exterior pockets holding my cleaning supplies and tools, with my padded gun pouches I can fit barely 4 guns in a side with the removable center pouch.Last edited by Synergy; 01-26-2012, 7:03 PM.sigpicComment

I was going to order 2 small bags and 2 large bags- called to have then send it by USPS to get a cheaper shipping cost and they quoted me $169.95!!!!! Yes, $169.95!! They said that was there actual shipping cost. Yeah right!
Midway will not get by buisiness with lies like that.

Midway is REALLY bad at making the S&H a big profit center..
I just find it insulting.. like they think we are idiots.
At 5.11 Tactical they charged me $7.95 for shipping and I bet that bag is heavier..Last edited by Steve1968LS2; 01-26-2012, 10:44 PM.Member: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment
