SEALs kill bad guys with 9mm?

Good job SEAL team 6. Now the big question, did you kill any bad guys with the "no knock down power" of your SIG P226s in 9mm? I hope you did!

couldnt have been 9mm, seals wouldnt use that. theyd use 338 lapua pistols for the knock down power.

Many MP5s issued by Uncle Sam are in 10mm. At least many of the one's I've got to play with are.

Damn I thought they just used pocket pistols that fired heat-seeking chainsaws at the enemy.

When you're a good shot and in the same room, 9mm is good enough.

Way back then , it was an early MP5 (1974-75) with single/auto only trigger group option . To get the silencers to work right , Winchester 147STHP was a round of choice.

Is that surprising? I guess it would be if all your knowledge of terminal ballistics and modern bullet design comes from gun shop "experts"

Only when training here in CA... when they deploy, they get to remove the BB and assemble their "rebuild kits".
