You can never have enough ammo.
You will want at least 50-60% of your life savings in precious metal investments, i.e. gold and or silver, ideally. If you can't shoot for this, settle for a lower ratio, attempting to reach as high as you can.
Once again, you can never have enough ammo. Get quality or mil-surp ammo to store away in a cool, dry place, and shoot up reloads, remanufactured, Wolf, Tula, steel cased, non-mil surplus low brand name commercial ammo first.
Commercial brands of ammo that would be a-ok to store up would be, imo:
Winchester
Remington
Prvi Partizan
Speer
PMC
Norinco
Black Hills
Aguila
Federal
American EagleIn Glock We Trust.

I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,
I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.Comment

If you plan on putting yourself out there during civil unrest and still decide to trade with people, you could score some big money or valuables if you trade these items to people who want it badly. You could get people's family jewels, precious metal coins, whatever else they've been hoarding, depending on how badly whoever wants it.
But on a side note, you must protect yourself and be extra cautious. Wear body armor, and keep loaded firearms with you at all times, ready to use them at less than a moment's notice. Don't openly advertise, offer to sell by proxy as much as possible, contact indirectly until it is deemed safe to do a FTF transaction for the goods. Once you do business with someone, don't trade with them again, lest they can't afford the cigs or booze next time and only have a bullet for you as payment. In Glock We Trust.

I would have to say food and water (OTHER in your list)! It's not sexy to say the least and probably more boring than any of the items in your list, however it is the most important of all. After food and water, then all of the above including the additional items listed by others.
