Kestryll already deleted another one of your cross posted threads you would think you would learn.

          Shoot up.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

              formula 1:

read everything you possibly can on the subject + read up on ballistics + buy rifle + buy scope + buy a crap ton of ammo + shoot a whole lot at 100yds until you feel comfortable shooting farther = beginning your journey in precision shooting.

              formula 2:

read everything you possibly can on reloading + buy reloading equipment + reload SAFELY + develop a load(s) for your specific rifle and shoot a whole lot = the next step in learning.

                        1. Get rifle
                        2. ????
                        3. Profit

Do you mean formulas for wind, drop, elevation, or just how to shoot long range in general? If it's a general question, there are a ton of resources from books to videos available.

                            The formula is simple...

                            1. Use quality equipment (rifle, optics, etc).
                            2. Use quality ammo.
                            3. Use the proper shooting technique (position, hold, control).
                            4. Know your equipment and ballistics.

If you are lacking any of the above, do the research and work required to obtain them.

The questions you are asking...well they are very telling. If you're serious about learning how to shoot well it takes time, discipline and practice.

You should invest in quality training before you start doing things on your own.

I'm biased but I suggest appleseedinfo.org. There is a shoot this weekend in Corona. If you're 21 and under the instructional fee is 5 dollars for the weekend not including range fees (we don't control that). The range fees at Raahauges' are $20 per day per person. You won't find a better deal anywhere.

If not Appleseed then at least get some instruction. If you go down the path that you are now you'll only find dead ends. Content without context.

PM me if you have questions.
