    NAA mini

I have had an NAA mini 22lr revolver for a while now. It is the 1.125 barrel size. I have it loaded with all five rounds. Now, it is not my primary home defense weapon (shotgun, wheel gun, and one semi-auto). Realistically, is this a good last defense revolver? Also, when at the range, any advice on target shooting. I know its a belly gun, but any advice will be great.

I know of at least two deputies from different northern cal Sheriff's Offices that are alive today because they carried the NAA mini. The bad guys in both cases didn't fare so well. I have had one for years and really like them. Is it the best defense choice? Probably not, but it's head and shoulders above no gun.

You can put the folding holster grip on them to make them pretty fun to shoot. The factory grips can get a tad harsh.

Range advice: aim flat along the top strap for elevation and use the front sight for side-to-side alignment only.
Be warned, while this seems to get the best accuracy, in my not-too-large hands the gun sat so high in my hand when aligned right that I could not get a really good grip on it.
It would just about jump out of my hand firing Stingers, meaning aimed fire was restricted to standard velocity .22 ammo.
For point blank distance shooting you can grip the gun more deeply as you won't be looking at the sights anyway.

I have an original Freedom Arms mini 22 revolver that has a (rather large) belt buckle it fits into---the grip is WAY small and awkward---the pistol os hard to aim because of the small grip---someday, I might take it out and shoot it!

Get the folding holster for it. Gives you something to hold onto. It looks stupid, but I have the laser on mine also(no bayo!)

I sold my .22LR Mini and bought the Mag version in it's place, largely due to the Mag's larger grip and easier shooting.
It's still small enough to fit in a pocket and the .22WMR cartridge has a lot more ooomph.

I can hit center of mass 5 yards all 5 shots. 7 yards, not so much. This is really a backups backup...

Supposedly you can lock the hammer onto a side groove but my NAA magnum doesn't fully lock (you can push the cylinder and it will switch to a chamber) so I'm a little nervous keeping it in pocket.

I have the "Black Widow" version. I've always liked it. It flat out disappears in a pocket. As far as aiming goes, mine does best at point blank.
