Reno gun show

Has anyone gone to the Reno gun show? Ammo Pricing? How's it compare to the Cow Palace? Was thinking of going in May.

The show is way better, but unless you have C&R FFL it isn't worth the drive when you figure in gas, transfer costs, etc. If you just want to browse and see real actual guns, and not junk, you'll be happy. You can find some great deals, but ammo won't be much cheaper than the Cow Palace show. The best deals to be had are all on cash and carry C&Rs. I go to every show, and am rarely disappointed.

If you plan on going...plan on spending the entire day there. The show is HUGE and you can spend a lot of time looking st some really neat stuff. It does get a little depressing getting to see all of the evil stuff that we in CA can not have but the show is definitely worth going at least once.

I went a couple years back, its awesome. Ammo I think is slighter cheaper but if you factor in the gas and time to drive out there, its doesnt make it too much justified...
Besides seeing firearms you could only dream about in CA, its fun to go!
