picking up 2 handguns on the same date from FFL?

I have 2 guns released to me on the same date from an FFL, 1 was a PPT and the other was a store purchase. question is should i pick up both toys and send that letter to DOJ for multiple firearm pick up? or wait the extra week to pick up the other and not have to send in that letter? Im not quite sure what that would do if they notify the DOJ for multiple firearm pick up? What yall think?

I thought you couldn't get more than one handgun per month... Maybe things have changed, but when I bought 4 different handguns in one lot on GB, I had to wait 4 months o get them all.

If these were PPT's then just pick them up together shouldn't be any extra paperwork involved.

1 in 30 only covers new/used guns purchased from dealer stock, not consignment or PPT's.

Also I thought multiple reporting only appliied to rifles.

Just a reminder that LA has 1-30 apply to all handgun transaction because well, they are LA and LA sucks.

Also the Handgun multiple report has always (in my memory) been there, there are trying to get it done for long arms.

Since PPT also requires DROS, that's incorrect as written.

The 1-in-30 is enforced when the DROS is submitted - if there's a problem, sometime within the 10-day wait the dealer will be notified of a 1-in-30 violation.

Two or more handguns in any five business days will require the dealer to file ATF Form 3310.4, not you.

Just pick them up and enjoy them. You have no other obligation other than posting pics and a range report

I did the same thing, the gun store guy filled out the "this crazy guy bought two guns! TWO!" form and sent it in when he did the DROS. So I didn't even think to pick up on a different date. Seriously, waiting ten days was enough, I don't want to wait any longer to pick up the other one.

I've done multiple handgun PPTs in a week time, granted they were at different ffl's so maybe that has something to do with it but I've never heard anything from them.

yeah i know the original 10 day waiting period sucks! but that "this crazy guy bought two guns!" form kinda got me curious on what that could possibly do or would that make the DOJ have a ??? in their heads?
