Anyone use MOA Armory for Cerakote services?

Looking to cerakote a handgun and this location is about the closest I can find in SoCal (I am in San Diego).

Any reviews of their work would be appreciated and or referral to another cerakote service in SoCal.

Hope my response isn't to late for you. I also live in socal and found the list of applicators limited. I have about a $1600 custom barreled action that I want coated so I proceeded cautiously. After bouncing emails back and forth and finally going in the store I decide I really like these guys! Unfortunately their turn around time on Cerakote right now is no sooner than 2 weeks. It was 2 weeks ago today that I dropped off my barreled action. If you can bare to wait I will post my experience once I get it back. All I can really tell you know is that the guys are helpful and the prices are fair. Leaving that barrel in someone else hands was the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time.

Located in Lake Forest and a certified applicator. Not on the Cerakote website (and boy did they get an earful about that at SHOT) but certified. MOA is good people who do good work but it would save you a bit of a drive and no shipping back east.

Just got my barreled action back and everything looks great. I also had them coat a set of 1911 grips to match and they came out good also. It did end up taking almost 3 weeks so that was a minus. All in all I will definitely go back for my next Cerakote project.

Argh, I see my old thread pop up today and JUST after I dropped my Sig off to be sent out.

I ended up going with Red Creek Tactical in Utah. Talked with an Ernie there. Seemed like a great guy and gave me tons of useful info. I am getting new Heinie sights installed as well for no labor charge since he said the sights will be already off for the Cerakote process. And I felt comfortable sending it to him since he's a Sig certified armorer.

I have another Sig that I am looking to have done so Crackerman, I will use your boss for the next one.
