    had a bad day shooting

The only reason I went shooting today was to sight in and try out some different ammo in my new Buckmark. Well when my Dad and me got to our shooting spot and got set up I realized I forgot my magazines for my Buckmark Luckily I brought my SP01 and a 10/22 so it was not a total waste of a trip. Lesson learned always double check your range bag before you leave.

at least you have not done the "duhhh" thing as getting there and forgetting the keys to the lock on the pistol bag because you used a car w/o a "locked trunk" by definition. thank god we had the rifles at least. LOL

call that a bad day shooting? sounds like it was better than the best day working and better than most days slacking off. Around here I'm used to a bad day shooting including words like "arrested" or "injury" or "destroyed" or "KB'd"

Glad you didn't have as bad a time as I thought when clicking the link. Now get back out there and shoot more.

A bad day for me is when I load up a bunch of firearms /ammo/targets etc and the Chrono then drive 30 min to the range to find out it is closed for some special event. Then have to drive home and unload it all without taking one shot.

OK not really a bad day but it was a real bummer not being able to shoot my brand new gun. I did shoot my Dads new to him Ruger P95 and it is a brick. You could feel and hear all the springs and feel it flex in the polymer lower.
Also when out on bLM land be careful of what you shoot. About 80-90 yards out I spot a small propane can (the small fat green ones) and tell My Dad to watch. I take aim and shoot and WOW it was full luckily it did not explode.

It gotta be better than a good day at work. I drove from Oakley to Oroville, to find out that SASS took over the range.

I got out to the range yesterday without targets and earplugs. D'oh!
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

You're not dead or in jail. So how is this a bad day of shooting?
I sounds like a fun day of shooting with a minor screw up.
Enjoy the day and your old man's company.

That's not a bad day shooting. A bad day shooting is blowing a hole in your leg with a 1911 or getting impaled on a Mosin bayonet.
