Affordable FFL Transfer Fees - Southern California (Westside/Culver/Marina/SouthBay)

Hey all,

I'm looking for an affordable place to do an FFL transfer. I want to begin my new rifle build and I dont want to have to deal with Martin B Retting's, Turners, and the like.

I've checked ImpactGuns.com's list of FFLs and its awkward calling peoples personal numbers only to hear "A what? A who? What the hell is an FFL?"
It seems that list is outdated.

Looking to spend $40-$60. Any one know a licensed FFL dealer who will do it for around that price here on the westside?

I'm in Venice Beach, and it seems we dont have many resources out here...
Culver City, Marina Del Rey, El Segundo, West LA, Santa Monica, are all great places for me. I really dont want to have o A) Drive to fountain valley to see the guys at Rifle Gear. the drive is ridiculous for me unless its a halfway point or something. I would like to avoid the valley if at all possible but beggars cant be choosers.

How much would it be realistically to FFL a bare lower receiver?
*Not including receiver cost.

What all do I need to bring with me?
Same as when I got to a store front?

There is a website somewhere that lists CA FFLs. Google something like: CA FLL list.

A local one to me, whom I also happen to personally know, does transfers for $25. He can also get stripped AR lowers for $89. Saves me a 1.5 hour round trip to Sac twice!
Might try calling a few and seeing what comes of it.
