3K spent on just my gun hobby alone in 3 weeks

    2 brand new guns
    Two CMC (pos) mags
    Ammo
    TLR1
    Snap caps
    Hoppe's bore snake
    Hoppe's solvent
    A-zoom .45 snap caps
    Liberty Safe
    I am broke lol
That's it! No more guns for me! Only ammo and some holsters. And only Ruger 22 45 if I see used for sale.

Can you feel my pain? I've never done that before.

I mean, I am not completely broke, but I'm definitely not rich.

It's getting to my head, it feels more like an addiction/life style.

Jesus Christ, I bought 6 guns in less than 12 months lol. TBH, there is nothing less that I need. I got myself a 9mm, .40sw, .45acp and a trusty AK47 built with nico.

At least I am not all crazy into cars, I'd definetly hurt.

You know I had that same realization late last year until I sold off some stuff I didn't like and got almost all of my money back. I look at it like this, you can buy guns, shoot them and enjoy them, then if something comes up you can always sell them and not take a huge loss. I used to buy all the new electronics gadgets and then when it came time to sell to buy something new I would take a 60% loss.......ouch. So it's kinda like you have 3k set aside that you might have wasted on something else.

Im lucky enough that with my profession any firearm/gear/ammo I purchase is a tax write off. I have at least 3-4k in write offs for 2011, should get a good chunk of change back, which Ill probably use to buy a new safe and another gun or two.

Nice start. I've heard of people who have nearly 100 guns in 2 safes and some in boxes in the rafters, eight 5 gallon buckets of brass, 50K primers, 40 pounds of powder, 2 Dillon loading machines, mags, holsters, bags and accessories for nearly everything. At that point you'll truly be getting serious about your Hobby. A good sign is when you start buying brass and dies in calibers that you don't have guns for yet.
                            where are my pistol mags?

Very true, I did sell two guns and I got 80% for what I paid for, but still... I bought guns almost twice as expensive than the ones I sold lol. But no regrets.

And yes, I'm glad that I purchased a safe because safe is definitely worth saving guns and ammo from getting them stolen.
