Is this considered a locking gun case?

It has locking zippers. Or do I need a hard case that has a built in lock?

If it locks and completely encloses the gun, it should be OK. You have to make your own decision on 'secure'.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

If you click the link, you'll see it says it has lockable zippers.

Thanks for the responses. My thought is that the case is kind of unassuming, I think people expect guns to be in a hard case. This one kind of looks like a tool-kit, or organizer...to me at least. And I don't mean for conceal-carry situations, I mean for secure transport.

I have that soft case, I never saw any locking zippers on mine, unless its a newer version with them now.

If it only has one zipper. Get a grommet kit and install a grommet on the soft case at the end where the zipper is when zipped. Install a key ring through the grommet and lock the zipper pull to the ring.

A reviewer on the 5.11 site has a personal pic using the bag, clearly showing 2 zippers.

I found this, it is lockable.

I like the coyote tan version with the velcro on the front.

Can anyone tell me if secure as used above has been defined by anyone? Or can it just be ignored?

I can tell you it has NOT been defined. OTOH, I don't think it can be ignored.
