Random .22 mag ammo question and Hi-cap AK mag question tacked on.

Two random questions from my mildy disfunctional brain:

    1) I've been shooting my Savage 93FVSS a lot recently (bull barrel stainless .22 mag). It groups in a strange fashion with certain ammo. For example, the cheap Winchester Dynapoint will shoot tiny 1/3 inch groups at 25 yards, open up to about .5 inches at 50 yards, and shoot around 12 inch groups at 100 yards. The higher end stuff, i.e. CCI varmint ammo will shoot a pretty consistent .75 inch groups at 25 and 50, then open up to about two inches at 100 yards. Is there a industry standard as far as 'match' type .22 mag ammo out there?

    2) Prior to becoming a dad I used to subscribe to Shotgun News and Gunlist. There were always a lot of good package type deals in the ads in the back of the mags. I'm mag ban exempt and am looking for a fairly affordable AK mag bundle, like 4-30 round steel surplus mags in a surplus mag pouch for XXX amount of dollars. Any of you guys with more free time see any good deals recently?
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

She-it... I dont even know why I get SGN anymore... Nothing in there is CA legal... Looking at ads for stuff I cant have is just an exercise in frustration. Although SGN does always have one or two really in depth articles in the first few pages, worth my money anyway...

Check out EXILE MACHINE, they are a CGN sponser, and good to go. They will break regular and high cap mags down for no charge too. They also do LE supply.

Today, we are ecstatic to announce that Lunde Studio acquired Exile Machine. Exile Machine is another forerunner in the gun industry, boasting 10 years of substantial professional experience.
