Hi-point should someone talk me out of it?

I'm thinking of buying a Hi-Point 45 carbine from Turner's they're not on sale right now so they're 400 bucks. It's just for desert plinking although HD isn't out of the question it's pretty short. Am I going to be sorry?

yes. bought the .380 and had issues out of the box. double feeds on the very first magazine

Except for the stock feeling like a cheap airsoft gun, and being absolutely **** ugly I haven't heard anything bad about them, and next time they go on sale I'm planning on picking one up myself.

True but all the plastic stocks feel that way to me including all the ar's. Early numbers pushing me yes.

Buy it -- it's a lot of fun to shoot.

Mine with HiPoint .45 pistol which can share mags with the carbine.

Cheap fun.

I've got about 1500 rounds through mine -

Only FTFFTE was from using cheap Tula rounds.

Quick clean - Zero issues.

Damn thing is suprising accurate on the rifle range too.

I bought mine used/like new for only $300 -

So if you buy it and want to sell it - I'LL TAKE IT.

But chances are you'll be having too much fun.....

i have the 9mm carbine and the pistol. both great shooters no problems so far and have been shooting wolf ammo.

Heh had to read that twice I must be tired. I think I'm in don't have anything 45 caliber YET. We do all our shooting in blm so it should be fun plus I do a little reloading.

For the HiPoint Carbine which has a Pistol Grip (Evil Feature)

You must have either have a bullet button or go featureless in CA

Goto hipoint forums and read all the sad stories from people who put that stock on. It does not support the trigger. HiPoint is tired of repairing them and no will not honor warranty if you use this aftermarket stock.
