Got to hunt today

3 confirmed kills and one that probably died in the crack it crawled into. I was outside when my dog spotted 2 lizards on the wall of my
Shed which is on top of the hill. He loves to kill them and was about to go charging when I called him off, and sent him inside with me as I was getting the red Ryder out. We go back outside where I proceed to get to 15 feet. Aim, pop and the bigger one falls, I laugh as the other one doesn't move. Pulled the lever to load up another bb and shoot the second one down. It's a pita to type on my iPod but I ended up getting 2 more. And I notice my red Ryder is made in china.

Do you have lizard tags? Are BB guns a legal meathod of take? Are they in season? Are the ones you took of legal size?

I'm serious, look at DFG regulations and you'll find that it is ILLEGAL to hunt, kill, pursue, etc. any wild life in California unless expressly authorized by DFG and appropriate licenses and permits are in hand.

Poor lizards....They eat spiders and cockroaches. Would have been more impressive picking off cockroaches.

I think so. Then again, some lizards are protected and can't be taken or harassed at all. The last thing this forum needs would be for someone to come here and openly post about their illegal activities.
