Does anybody else find this incredibly irresponsible, even though they're celebrating a tradition?

Looks like fun but they should still be following universal gun safety rule #2 - Don't point your muzzle at anything you don't want to destroy! Lots of sweeping and low aim shots being blasted off. Seems easy enough to accidentally mix in a live round.

Kinda makes me proud to be from Amador County!Originally posted by Untamed1972... the POV of courts and legislators needs to be....if an item can have a lawful purpose then you can't criminalize the item, you can only criminalize unlawful acts committed with that lawful item.Comment

When I moves to amador 3 years ago I was walking in downtown Jackson when in they pulled up just like that and started shooting. Scared the **** ome of me! Then I noticed a local cop just hanging out and watching. It was so weird....Originally posted by KestryllYeah, don't tell that rat bastard Kestryll, he'll shut it down.

My family is from Suffer Creek so yeah I've been to quite a few of those "events". 4th of July is absolutely nuts up there with the Slavs all celebrating for the entire week and shooting guns off etc.
As for the video, I'd be pissed if that bonehead with the over-under was sweeping me with the muzzle, blanks or not.NRA Life Member - CRPA Life Member - NRA Certified RSO - USN Veteran
I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.
