I have seen the future in California and there will be no more 10 day waiting period after the first firearm purchase.

Now is the time to plan ahead for all of the "OMFG, I just bought a gun and walked out of the store with it!!?!!!" posts from CalGunners in shock. Perhaps this will warrant a whole new forum to keep up with the huge numbers of these posts the first couple of months.

California gun shops will be stripped bare to the bone and we'll be buying stupid guns we don't even want just so we can experience going home with a gun the same day you buy it.

Imagine all of that pent up anger, frustration and grief that CA gun buyers have been holding back for years and years. I can see videos posted by family and friends of gun owners coming out of gun stores hugging gun cases and sobbing with release.

Maybe some local CalGuns support groups with meetings twice a week. Cause only another gun lover will really understand.

I'm freaking serious, this is going to be some powerful emotional stuff man.

It will not matter to me. I remember buying firearms and walking out with them. Not a big deal since I have many to shoot now anyway.
Besides the 10 day will go away only to be replaced with a 15day wait.

This. I'd be more willing to drive a distance to pick up a hard to find firearm since there would be no need to make the trip twice.

It will simply remind me when I lived in AZ and a 5 min phone call the ATF was all that was necessary to complete the transaction. From walking in the door and leaving never took more than 30 minutes if I knew exactly what I wanted... on the other hand, when I tried to buy a bolt action .308 at walmart (this was a long time ago) after I'd moved to CA, and was back there to hunt Elk but my friend with my rifle hadnt been able to leave on time... oh sorry, you're a CA resident, and that bolt action rifle might be a terrorist weapon.. meanwhile everyone else with AZ citizenship goes about their merry business...


CA needs massive overhaul. But we'll never see it. Not when "sanctuary" cities like LA and SF are populating the vote.

Can you imagine if we forced the same requirements on firearms possession that we do to VOTE!?!?! (which means little to none)

Yeah, do away with all 3 schedules/rosters and backwards grandfather all rifles not owned by convicted felons, and then we can pretty much do away with that BB and detach mag nonsense

FFS... really CA? REALLY???? I can (and did) enlist and serve at 18 ((17 in my case)) and I had to wait until I'm 21 to drink beer, but I can go to war and kill people so anti gun nuts and globalist fascists tell people its okay for them to have a gun so they can protect themselves from us... and people keep voting for them???
