Yeah, here in Cali she would need to wait till her son was killed and the robber was after her. Otherwise it's a 187 pc.

I like how in the article they threw in her "legally registered handgun" in the mix. I guess it's better than how it would be reported here. Here they would call the robber the victim and call her hand gun an "Assault gun".

Even with all the sensational terms used that was a great article about someone using a gun for self defense, and in MSNBC no less.

I think even in CA it would be hard for the DA to charge her since she was protecting another that had already been shot.

The added benefit for this is the robber will never be committing any other assaults in the future. Crime goes down when this kind of robber is eliminated from our society either with prison or with the solution in the article.

Per the NRA's gun laws by state PA doesn't register handguns, long guns either lol.
