What is the good/bad of Cheaper Than Dirt?

I have never been to a gun show, but am considering going to the next one through town. However, I have seen posts about a lot of made in china crap at gun shows, how much of a gun show is quality stuff?

From my experiences, there are not really any good deals at gun shows. Occasional reloading components from the stray guy, but mostly, all overpriced stuff you could just order through the mail for cheaper. It is a cool place to just hang out, but do not go expecting to buy stuff for a lower price... It just isn't going to happen unless you get very lucky.

Gun shows are flooded with junk but if you take your time and look you can usually find some decent stuff. You can order most anything online but the satisfaction of having it now is somtimes worth the extra $$$. Besides support your local gun shop or distributor the more you show your face the more apt you are to get deals from them. There are also alot of hard to find things there that take months to find on the internet. Oh yeah cheaper than dirt is like an online gun show. Remember sometimes you get what you pay for.

CTD, only slightly less than Sportsman's Guide, declines to sell things to California that are legal to own and use here.

I prefer to spend my money with firms that do not allow themselves to fall victim to the blathering of the California legislature and executive branch.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
