newer members with zero rating in FS section?

I have no problem with it at all and it wouldn't be a problem if you can do the deal face to face. However, if the item can only be shipped due to distance, is there any "insurance" for me that I won't get screwed?

I've never dealt with anyone with less than ~150 iTrader ratings, so my experience here is nil. Thanks for the comments/suggestions

    150...?

I don't send any money to anyone with less than 10 ratings.

    So you are out....

        I only have 3.
But I can tell you I am a stand up will pay be there on time no doubt about it gonna make the deal kind of gal.
Would be kind of sad if you didn't sell me anything because I don't have over 150.

        Your call.

P.S. I personally know 2 Calgunners with minimal posts and 0 iTrader. I would deal with them any day of the week.
        But whatever.

150 trades? There are many new members that join just for the marketplace. If you don't feel comfortable don't make the deal. But not dealing with individuals with less than 150 trades is limiting yourself to a much bigger market.

I have 5 and you will miss on some good deals. I am old school. A person word is as good as his or her agreement. Unless I have heard something badabout them. 150 wtf.

yes but you don't have to mention guns. and you can still be refunded your money by saying it was a flower vase.

NEVER sell an item using paypal. If PP finds out, they recall your money AFTER your part is sent to the person. So the person has the part they paid for and YOU have no cash. In 4 to 6 months you get your money back AFTER they investigate ALL of your transactions and again will RECALL all moneys they can prove violate their TOS. Try pulling your bank account infor after the sale goes thrugh...no go. In the TOS you signed, they can still debit your bank account AFTER you remove the link from your PP account to your bank. If you dont have the money in that account, the bank will charge a NSF fee on top of the PP NSF fee. I have heard nightmare stories from people. I know a guy who lost his home business because one idiot wrote, " thanks 4 the Mfour site" in the note line. PP jacked his whole account balance of 10K for 6 months His business failed. He then got his money back and stopped selling gear.

I will only BUY items using PP, I will never sell items using PP that are not sold on E-bay...and even that is risky.

use online payment service where you use your credit card instead of a money order, that way you can charge back in case you get screwed. i won't name the service but we all know what it is, or use COD .. hopefully it'll be smooth.

Nice vase dude, it really ties the room together

Caveat emptor. If you cant get comfortable dont do the deal. That being said strangers are doing a ton of transactions everyday all over the web and they mostly turn out ok.

wow, i didn't know this. should be illegal for them to take your money from you when they have to way of proving what the item was intended to be used for.
