Is it true in cali bullets cost more?

I've been shopping around for 9mm and .223 loaded ammunition and both have been pretty expensive. I'm not sure how much they cost to purchase out of state.

I know, I know wolf is the cheapest but I'd prefer the American Eagle or Remington .223.

Does anyone in Calguns do a group buy for loaded ammo in these calibers?

Does anyone in Calguns do production quantity reloads in these caliber?

i buy lead 200 grain swc and they run about $30 for 500 which is about the going rate nationally

American Eagle does not produce 'bullets'.

Your post's context leads me to think you are misusing the term 'bullets' and what you are referring to is loaded ammunition, 'cartridges', 'loaded rounds' , etc.

Bullets are just the little thingies that fly out at 3000fps.

Yes, shipping costs can add up but there's also pricing pressure due to ongoing wars and demand for key materials (price of raw brass has shot up due to demand in China too)

Yup, I stocked up on a few boxes from the Davis location last week. But If I can get CCI Blazer brass for $15 for two boxes, I think I'll buy a couple boxes to see if there's any difference.

The way I understand it, it's the SuperCenter Wal Mart's that carry ammo.
