Help finding a type of sling?

I got an operator pack for Christmas and its got D-rings the shoulder straps , I'm looking for a sling that mounts to those . Only thing I can figure is it would probably be shaped like a Y . But I can't find anything. Help please.

Just a thought, if you mount a sling to your pack if you need to take off your pack to get gear out or have to take it off to lighten your assault load you will have to take off your rifle as well and will have no sling! The most pro way to do it is to keep your gear as flexible as possible so you can add or subtract items from your kit without having to change your load around. With slings simple is best find something you can throw over you gear and will not get in the way of mag changes or getting items out. I have found the V-tac sling to be my personal favorite because it is very high quality, simple, quickly adjustable, and will work with packs, armor or any kit. The V-tac sling can be worn over or under the strong side shoulder. Just my .02

          +1

There's a reason why no one really does it.

Even if you know you're not gonna ditch your pack, sling on your rifle last after you put all your other gear on.

And instead of the VTAC sling, i'd go with a VCAS sling by BFG, but that's just personal preference.

I already have a MS2 sling , asap plate and RSA, but im looking for a way to connect to my pack, seeing as i dont plan on assaulting anything, i dont think ill be ditching gear for it.If anything i foresee long hikes with a pack and Ar15,and id like a way to carry the rifle on the big padded straps. I could swear i saw the type of sling i want attached to a ciras style vest with D-rings in a similar location.

Like this but i cant find one that has clips to mount to the rings.Click on image to check it out.

Also, if anyone is looking for a fantastic BoB or whatever pack , this one will surprise you at its quality for 45 bucks!

Look into the Ares sling over both VTAC & VCAS. I run a VTAC no padding myself with no issues.

With that backpack, I'd run a single point sling personally.

Well, just so you don't get the idea that i'm some sort of a-hole...

you can run one of these, or take the mount part just below the clip and then rig the webbing to a QD clip and a Tango Down mount (PR-4) or something if you HAVE to use the metal D ring...

                  PR-4 mount

If you are dead set on putting the sling on there just use some 550 and a snap-link and you are done for less than $5. It still sucks to have your rifle hooked to your bag even if you are not setting your gear up for battle. When you take off you pack to get out some scooby-snacks you have to take off you rifle too. But to each their own.

If you're still dead set on clipping a sling to your pack (btw, don't do it for all the reasons mentioned already). Here's a y-type sling by J-Tech for you.
