I like .30 for range trips, carry enough of one caliber.

I'm leaning towards the .50 now. I just saw some organizer insert that fits into the .50's which looks pretty cool and would help me organize my crap.

BTW... Anyone have experience storing FAL and G3 mags in a .50 can?

            Love them "fiddy's"

I like the .50's for stacking, and as mentioned above, the .30's work good for the grab-n-go carrier. The best part about .50's is figuring out how to arrange the ammo inside.

I use 3 sizes.. 30cal, 50cal, and the 20mm cans.. I use the 20mm cans mostly for prepped brass storage...and the others for loaded ammo storage.

Hard to say. I use .50 cans for car emergency kits, and the .30 cans for the range. I have .30 cans for 9mm, 45 acp, and 223 that I take to the range. A .50 can full of ammo is heavy - and I'm old!

I use a tall .50 can for the range, and for storage, I use 81mm mortar cans. One for each of my main rifle calibers.

I use the standard 7.62mm ammo cans for .22LR, 9mm, .45ACP etc, as they all fit neatly into a GI style footlocker.

.30 cal cans are a good handy size for trips to the range, I like .50 cals or storing stuff, they make a good little tool box for the behind the seat in my truck.
