GT in Austin has a lot to offer if your in the area. Its my one stop shop for AR parts when I was stationed at Fort Hood. They have a variety of AK gear on hand.

Spectre Firearms in Spring

Try TAC-47 in the Spring area (not sure if they're open in their new store yet) He's big-time into AKs. There's another place over that way, too, Texas Shooters Supply, they do AKs and Saiga conversions and such, and sell parts at the local gun shows. Also AMSS (armory management and supply services) at 1960 and Jones Rd. in Jersey Village/Cypress, though they are more into AR stuff, but they do carry AKs,Dracos, Saigas, and so on, and some parts.

Collectors just got more invested into "black rifles" lately, but they are still kinda high on their prices. I go there more for their phenomenal book section.. they have stuff nobody else has, and that holds true in the firearms,too.. all kinds of weird stuff, antiques, etc. Carter's is not big on AK/AR stuff, they cater more to the hunting side. They do have lots of reloading and other cool stuff, though.
